As part of our ongoing efforts, we have developed paper bags made of 95% post-consumer fibre, napkins of 100% recycled content, to-go plastic cups made with recycled PET, strawless lids for all to-go iced drinks, compostable straws made of CPLA (corn starch-based material) and take-away cutlery made with biodegradable cornware. Our stores are also installed with LED lights to save energy.

Bring your own tumbler

Bring your personal mug or tumbler and enjoy 50 cents off each time you opt to fill it with your favorite beverage. Buy any Starbucks tumblers in stores and Starbucks® Rewards members can enjoy a free drink on us. Sign up now.

For here or To go?

One can save trees, together we can save forests. Let our baristas know that you will be enjoying your drink in the store, opt for our “for here” mugs and cold cups when you visit us. We also have compostable straws made of CPLA (corn starch-based material), but you're free to bring your own reusable straw as well.

Take only what you need

Reduce wastage of straws, stoppers, napkins, stirrers and more by taking only what you need. Our biodegradable disposable cutlery for take-away orders will be provided upon request.

Cut down on paper bags

Instead of paper bags, bring along your own reusable bag on your next coffee run. Don't have one? Starbucks regularly sells tote bags and reusable bags, keep an eye out for it on your next visit.

From grounds to garden

At Starbucks, we brew lots of coffee daily, and we’re more than happy to share our excess grounds with you. Connect with our friendly baristas to let us know about your gardening needs, and we can set aside our used coffee grinds for you.
