Prudential Marina Bay Carnival Opens Tomorrow – Here’s What You Can Expect

14 December
Prudential Marina Bay Carnival

Unless you have been living under a rock, most of you with social media accounts would have heard of the upcoming Prudential Marina Bay Carnival that is set to open doors to the public tomorrow (15 Dec 2017). Spanning across The Promontory and Bayfront Event Space at Marina Bay, you can expect nothing but tons of fun and games!

Featuring both thrilling and kid-friendly rides and games, and over a million plush toys from Marvel and Pixar (say whaaat?!), the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival is working with an international community of fairground experts to host more than 40 attractions from all over the world—some of them are in Singapore for the very first time! Yes, this is one enormous fair you should be looking forward to.

While admission to the carnival is free, visitors have to purchase a stored value card to enjoy the rides and games. Now, are you ready for some excitement at the biggest carnival in Singapore?

#1 FEEL THE RUSH OF ADRENALINE ON THRILLING RIDES

Star Flyer

Dare devils have to make a beeline for the star attraction of the carnival— the Star Flyer. The gigantic tower ride offers riders not just an exhilarating adrenaline rush, but also a panoramic view of the city’s skyline.

Hailing from the US, Mach 5 is a ride that spins you in rapid clockwise and anti-clockwise directions at 55 metres high. This is definitely not one for the fainthearted!

Scream your lungs out on the Euro Coaster, a ride from Italy which happens to be the largest ride at the carnival, taking up a huge land space of 700 square metres.

Rockin Tug

#2 LOTS OF KID-FRIENDLY ATTRACTIONS

There is no shame if thrilling rides are not your thing. Instead, look forward to all the family-friendly attractions that promise lots of fun without the fear factor.

No carnival or theme park is complete without a pirate ship. At the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival, Das Fun Schiff from Germany will have you swinging at various levels of angular momentum. Parents bringing their little ones along will definitely create many precious memories together on this ride!

Jungle River is essentially a boat ride where riders sit on wooden logs that will transport them along the meandering “river” before ending off with a mini splash. On such a humid day, there is nothing better than getting soaking wet on a boat ride at a carnival!

Lighthouse Slip

Other rides that will be featured at the carnival include Lighthouse Slip, Paddle Boats, Dodgems and more.

Carnival Games

#3 WIN COOL PRIZES AT THE CARNIVAL GAMES

There are over a million prizes up for grabs so everyone stands a high chance to bring home soft toys from big American animation film studios including Marvel, Pixar and Dreamworks.

Marina Bay Carnival

We were screaming with delight when we saw the larger-than-life plush toys that are waiting to be brought home!

Carnival Food

#4 YUMMY CARNIVAL MUNCHIES

Fill up your tummy with carnival grub to sustain your energy throughout the day. With more than 20 stall vendors to choose from each week, you are certainly spoilt for choice when it comes to the wide range of food such as sweet and savoury snacks and even substantial meals such as chili crab pasta and pulled beef sandwich.
